Why do planes fly on automatic pilot?

Planes fly on automatic pilot because automatic control is often safer than manual control.

How?

By giving the student some hints to help him answer a question.

When are quick reactions necessary?

Quick reactions are necessary when you hear a fire alarm go off.

(alarm goes off : アラームが鳴る　cf. set off an alarm : アラームを鳴らす)

Why?

Because my pet dog likes going for a walk in the rain.
