If I sent over 50 letters of application and received no answers, I’d feel I could not get a job.

If, all of a sudden, I received a letter from a distant relative of mine with a cheque for $300 attached to it, I’d feel suspicious of the letter and call him.

Would you like to have a master’s degree in computer science? Why?
Yes, I would like to have a master’s degree in computer science because it helps me find a well-paid job.

Do you agree that military service should be compulsory for all men? Why?
No, I don’t agree that military service should be compulsory for all men because some of them are against fighting with other countries.

Do you think that all countries should introduce compulsory education? Why?
Yes, I think that all countries should introduce compulsory education because it helps the countries develop.

Which school courses, in your opinion, shouldn’t be made compulsory?
In my opinion, some dangerous sports like judo shouldn’t be made compulsory.

What does it mean when a job in a company is vacant?
When a job in a company is vacant, it means that the company wants to hire someone for the position.

If you were an English teacher at a private school and one day you found out that the position of an English teacher at state school had become vacant, would you apply for it? Can you justify your decision?
Yes, if I were an English teacher at a private school and one day I found out that the position of an English teacher at a state school had become vacant, I would apply for it because the position of a teacher at a state school is more guaranteed.
