What do we mean by maternity ward?

By maternity ward we mean the department of a hospital where women go to give birth to their babies.

Is it hard in your country to adopt an infant? Why?

Yes, it’s hard in my country to adopt an infant because it’s not popular here in Japan.

What’s a foster family?

A foster family is a family which takes another person’s child into your house for some time without becoming their legal parents.

What kind of things or processes can happen to an orphaned child?

An orphaned child can become financially weak for their lifetime.
